Quality wholesale fabric by Cristina Marrone

Seeing an opportunity to use our knowledge and expertise, we established the business way back in 1977 as Covertex. We had extensive experience when it came to upholstery fabric and quickly set about making a name for ourselves. Specialising in an account based approach to sales, we took the time to understand what our customer's needed.

We also worked to ensure we were always up to date with the latest treatment requirements, if our customers had questions about their wholesale fabric needs, we made sure we had the answers. This approach played a significant part in us becoming one of the leading wholesalers to the industry, in what was a relatively short space of time, supplying an extensive range of upholstery fabrics both in the UK and across Europe.

Just over twenty years later, and now a well-established wholesale fabric designer and supplier, we were delighted to have Cristina Marrone join us. This was 1999, interior design schemes were becoming more unique than ever before and fabric was playing a significant part in setting the scene as we approached a new millennium. Cristina brought with her an exciting and new energy along with expertise honed during her time at the iconic Central Saint Martins.

It was Cristina's vision and eye for detail, which has helped us establish the brand as a household name. Whether designed by her or selected from the finest mills globally, Cristina Marrone is a name synonymous with quality. We couldn't be happier to embrace Cristina Marrone as our name and continue our commitment to providing high-quality fabrics and excellent service that our customers have come to expect from Covertex.
